Jack Harlow Announces His New Album Come Home The Kids Miss You

Jack Harlow releasing his new album “Come Home the Kids Miss You” on May 6th.

Jack Harlow is riding high on the success of his latest single “Nail Tech“, which eventually made him connect with Kanye West for collaboration on “Donda 2“. The rapper now graces the Cover of Rolling Stone, and also made a huge announcement. The Kentucky rapper has announced that his next studio album is titled “Come Home the Kids Miss You”, and it will drop on May 6th.

“I’m on the cover of Rolling Stone. And together we’re announcing my new album, ‘Come Home The Kids Miss You,’ out May 6th. Now for what I really wanna say: BI**H WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH,” he wrote.

The “Whats Poppin” hitmaker also sat down with Rolling Stone for a new interview, where he talked about his latest single. “It’s [Nail Tech] probably my least favorite song on the album,” he says. “But I know the effect it’s gonna have on people. I’m spitting, and there’s energy behind the beat. . . . I have different tastes. I can’t believe people love to listen to ‘Tyler Herro’ on repeat and ‘What’s Poppin’ on repeat.”

The “What’s Poppin” rapper, like Eminem before him, wants to cement himself as the face of his age with the new album. According to Harlow, there aren’t enough people in his generation who claim to be the next in line, and this has to change.

“That’s what made Em so hard — he was in the dog pile,” says Harlow on proclaiming the hip-hop throne. “I want to be the face of my sh*t, like the face of my generation, for these next 10 years. We need more people in my generation that are trying to be the best, and you can’t do that with just ear candy, vibe records. You got to come out swinging sometimes. . . . My new sh*t is much more serious. Right now, my message is letting muh’f**kers know I love hip-hop, and I’m one of the best in my generation. You can’t do that with nonchalant, like, ‘Eeey, I got the bi**hes,’ in clever ways over and over again. I got to dig deeper this time.”

“Come Home the Kids Miss You” will be released on Generation Now and Atlantic Records in 2020, following his debut album “That’s What They All Say.” His most recent album included a slew of hits, including his breakout tune “What’s Poppin.”
