Instagram bans Kanye West's IG account on the hate speech & cyber Bullying

For the next 24 hours, Ye will not be able to post anything on Instagram.

When it’s Kanye it has to be controversial. Ye’s billionaire status couldn’t save his account to be banned.
West has been using social media to call out his enemies for months, but his recent actions have prompted Meta, the owner of Facebook and Instagram, to intervene with action. Kim Kardashian was on Ellen DeGeneres’ episode earlier today (March 16), gushing about her infatuation with Pete Davidson, while Kanye West was on Instagram, flinging obscenities at individuals who have spoken out against his recent conduct.

D.L. Hughley stated that he believes West is following Kim and that the rapper’s actions are harmful. Trevor Noah of The Daily Show also remarked on West’s continued postings about his ex-wife and Davidson, making the talk show host a target as well. Kanye used a racist insult on him, and Meta quickly interjected.

Earlier in the day, the singer allegedly uploaded a photo of comedian Trevor Noah with racist insults in the text. TODAY has not seen the original posts, which have now been removed, but copies have been obtained by many media sources.

On Tuesday night’s episode of “The Daily Show,” Noah covered the lingering ramifications from Ye’s divorce from reality star Kim Kardashian. In it, Noah urged followers not to make light of the issue. “It’s spun into a story that seems fully tabloid but I think deserves a little more awareness from the general public. … I know everyone thinks it’s a big marketing stunt …,” Noah said in his Tuesday segment. “Two things can be true: Kim likes publicity, Kim is also being harassed. Those things can be happening at the same time.”

For the next 24 hours, Ye’s Instagram account is also barred from posting, commenting, or sending direct messages. Additional measures will be considered if Ye continues to violate Instagram community rules, according to a Meta representative.

West has justified himself by claiming that he has been denied access to his children and that Kim is provoking him by releasing videos of his daughter North and her cousins on TikTok.

Meanwhile, Kim has reacted by saying that despite his concerns, he brought up the kids from school in the morning and that she would never say anything derogatory about her children’s father in interviews.
