The fans had been waiting for J. Cole’s next project, and the rapper finally hints at his era. The Dreamville boss has cleared his Instagram profile, which artists usually do as part of the rollout of their albums.

J. Cole’s next album is titled “It’s A Boy” which he revealed back in back in 2020, as it will be his second album before the highly anticipated “The Fall Off”. The fans believe we could see the release of the album or single later this month, as Cole will turn 38 on January 28th.

The new album will be a follow-up to his 2021 hit effort “The Off-Season“, which debuted at #1 with 282,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. The project featured contributions from 21 Savage, Bas, Lil Baby, 6Lack, Morray and others.

In 2022, Jermaine was at top of his game as he gave several great verses to assist other artists. Cole’s verse on Benny The Butcher’s “Johnny P’s Caddy” is considered one of the best of the year. He also featured on YG’s “Scared Money”, EarthGang’s “Ghetto Gods” album, BIA’s “London“, Smino’s “90 Proof” and more.

In addition to his music career, Cole has also made appearances in the world of sports and gaming. He was featured on the cover of NBA 2K and was included as a playable character in its MyCAREER story mode. He also had a brief stint playing for the Scarborough Shooting Stars in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) for two games. “I had to let them know how incredible this was,” he said of briefly joining the team. “The players, the coaching staff, the organization, the league, it’s a crazy thing when you see it on paper, when you see what’s actually happening, and they made me feel so welcome.”
