Ice-T Shows Respect To Hip-Hop OGs For Selling Out Arena Tours We're Not Done

Ice-T gives flowers to hip-hop OGs.

Ice-T took to his social media and acknowledge rap veterans who are still selling out arenas for their concerts. The LA pioneer named some of the hip-hop greats who are still going strong at that stage of their career.

“From what I’ve noticed.. Classic HipHop is selling out Arenas world wide! NAS, WuTang, 50cent, LL, Snoop, IceCube.. Our fans are showing up and having a blast!! It’s a great feeling. Respect to the OGs! We’re not done… [four explosion emojis],” he tweeted.

“Artists with established hits, brands and fan bases [claps emojis],” responds Ebro Darden. “Facts spoken from a true OG,” wrote DJ Premier. “Classic and forever. The type of Hip Hop that can’t be replaced,” wrote Lazarus. “Facts OG,” wrote KXNG Crooked.

Earlier this year, Ice-T revealed that he’s working on his new album “The Legend of ICE-T “Crime Stories” Vol 1 & 2″, which will feature six new storytelling songs. “I got a rap project coming out and it’s called…First, I’ve never spoken on it yet… It’s called, The Legend of ICE-T “Crime Stories” Vol 1 & 2,” he said.

The actor/rapper then stated that he’s coming for Slick Rick’s King Of Stories’ Throne. “It’s a compilation of all my story rhymes from all eight albums and about six new songs that are all story-based,” he added. “You know, they say Slick Rick is the king of stories. I’m coming for that throne. Wait till you hear this. These are all my story records from ‘6 ’N the Mornin’’ to ‘Midnight’ and all these adventures put into one album. It’s a double vinyl release, it has two vinyls and it’s gonna be like a classic collector’s piece. The reason it’s titled The Legend of ICE-T is because a lot of things people believe about me are legend.”
