Grandmaster Flash says Dr. Dre played him his new album.

We continue getting teased about the highly anticipated Dr. Dre album which he has been working on for years. In the past year, several fellow artists dropped hints on the long-awaited project and today we get another new update. Grandmaster Flash, the legendary 63-year-old DJ was recently invited to Dre’s crib in LA, where he gets to hear the new album. He revealed that they both had a 2-hour conversation on various topics, including Music, Family Health, Life, and more.

The Barbadian-American DJ shared a picture of him with Dr. Dre, with a caption, “Here in LA doing the Disco Oasis with Nile Rogers tonite, I get a call from one of my heroes he invites me to the CRIB he takes me down to the STUDIO he played me a project that will change the game!! Totally incredible, we top off the day for 2hrs talkin about Music, Family Health and Life thanks for the Invite Dr Dre.

The project was also dubbed “absolutely wonderful” by Grandmaster Flash, who added that he and Dre “capped off the day for 2hrs talking about Music, Family, Health, and Life.”

It’s unclear whether Dre’s “project” with Grandmaster Flash was his rumored “Detox” record, which has been in the works for years. After returning home from the hospital in January following treatment for a brain aneurysm, Dre reportedly began work on ‘Detox.’

Around a month ago, A rumored tracklist of Dr. Dre’s upcoming album surfaced online, which had two Eminem features. The list also featured other potential appearances, including Jay-Z, Cordae, Wiz Khalifa, Kanye West, Anderson .Paak, Snoop Dogg and more.
