Ye lost in on several record deals, and now he gets sued for a hefty amount because of his comments on George Floyd.

According to TMZ, Roxie Washingon, the mother of George Floyd’s only daughter Gianna, is suing the rapper for $250 million in damages. She has hired a team of lawyers to against Ye and his business associates for harassment, misappropriation, defamation, and infliction of emotional distress.

“Mr. Floyd’s cause of death is well-settled through evidence presented in courts of law during the criminal and civil trials that were the result of his untimely and horrific death. Nevertheless, you have maliciously made statements that are inaccurate and unfounded, causing damage to Mr. Floyd’s estate and his family,” the letter reads.

“Kanye West knowingly made blatantly false statements about George Floyd’s death to promote his brands, and increase marketing value and revenue for himself, his business partners, and associates,” Floyd’s legal representation claimed.

If you look, the guy’s knee wasn’t even on his neck like that,” Ye said about Floyd. “They said he screamed for his mama; mama was his girlfriend. It’s in the documentary.”
