Future, Metro Boomin & Kendrick Lamar's Like That Tops Billboard Hot 100 Chart

Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss “Like That” earns number 1 on Billboard Hot 100.

Future, Metro Boomin’s Hit Kendrick Lamar collab “Like That” continues success as it debuts at number 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. This is Future and Kendrick’s third chart-topper song, and Boomin’s earns his first as a leading artist, as he previously earned two as a writer and producer.

The song earned the boost following Kendrick’s shots at Drake and J. Cole in his verse. “Ah, yeah, huh, yeah, get up with me / F–k sneak dissin’, first-person shooter, I hope they came with three switches,” he raps, in reference to Drake and J. Cole’s collab “First Person Shooter.” “Think I won’t drop the location? I still got PTSD / Motherf–k the big three, ni–a, it’s just big me / Ni–a, bum, what? I’m really like that / And your best work is a light pack,” he adds.

The song appeared on Future and Boomin’s new collab album “We Don’t Trust You”, which also topped the Billboard 200 chart the other day. The new collab album moved 251,000 equivalent album units in the first week, which is the biggest for any genre in 2024.
