Eminem, Royce 5'9 & Others Pays Tribute To Battle Rapper Pat Stay On His Death

The hip-Hop fraternity pays homage to Pat Stay.

Just the other day, the rap community lost another soul as the acclaimed battle rapper Pat Stay was stabbed to death in downtown Halifax on Sunday. The victim was not identified by the Halifax Regional Police, but the rapper’s brother Pete Stay confirmed the tragic news.

The incident occurred just a day after the rapper released a diss track titled “Warm Up” towards The Game, after calling him out about a month ago.

Now the rappers and fans pay homage to Pat Stay, which also includes a tweet from Eminem. “hiphop lost one of the best battlers of all time … RIP @patstay .. KINGS NEVER DIE,” wrote Eminem. “Long Live Pat Stay,” says KXNG Crooked. “R.I.P. @patstay … He was a GREAT man,” tweets Royce Da 5’9″.

Drake too paid homage to battle rapper Pat Stay. Drizzy rushed to Instagram Stories on Sunday (September 4) to pay tribute to the Nova Scotia musician, naming him one of his favorite rappers of all time. “RIP to the S**ka Free Boss @patstay 902 one of my fav rappers ever,” he posted beside a photo of Stay performing during his OVO and King of the Dot “Blackout 5” battle rap fight.
