Eminem Creates Historical Record with The Eminem Show Album

Eminem sets another new milestone with “The Eminem Show”.

The classic 2002 album “The Eminem Show” continues to gain huge numbers as Eminem sets another new record. Eminem’s fourth studio album has now moved over 11 million pure copies, which made him the first artist to have two projects surpassing the number in Nielsen Era. It is his second album to do so, after the previous one “The Marshall Mathers LP” of 2000, which is closing in on 12.

The iconic Detroit Rapper’s project won the Grammy Award at 2003 Grammys for Best Rap Album as it was the best-selling album of 2002 in the US with over 7.6 million copy sales and it topped the charts in 19 countries which include the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. The 20 track album became certified Diamond on March 7, 2011, making it his second album to receive that award after his third studio album “The Marshall Mathers LP“. Since its release in 2002, the album has sold over 10,600,000 copies in the US and over 30 million copies worldwide. The album featured classics like “Till I Collapse“, “Cleanin Out My Closet“, “Without Me” and more.

The Eminem Show has the most sales of any album in 2002, both in the US and internationally. With 27 million copies sold globally and 12 platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in 2022, it is one of the greatest albums in history and the second most successful album of the twenty-first century.

A couple of weeks ago, the album marked its 19th Anniversary of the release.
