Drake posts some alternate Cover Arts for the “Certified Lover Boy” album.
Drake is rocking the charts and streaming platforms with his latest album “Certified Lover Boy” which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. Now the Toronto rap star decided to share some unused Artwork of the project. When Drake announced his album with the original Cover Art, people were confused if it was the official cover for the album or just something part of the rollout process. But later it was confirmed that it was indeed an official album cover, which brought a meme fest on social media.
Drake took to his social media a while back and shared a series of alternate “CLB” Artworks. He shared the artwork with their creator’s name, which included Luis Mora, Milo Manara, Theo Skudra, Damien Hirst, Ribbon Sketch, and more. Drake also shared a cover with a lipstick kiss mark. “Certified Original Kiss by ???” he wrote in the caption.
Luis Mora’s Artwork featured Drake with a woman, who is Hayley Karrina, the founder and designer of MDRN FORM. She also reposted the cover on her profile to confirm that she’s the one of the picture.
Drake’s new album had the biggest debut of 2021 with 604k in the first week, beating his arch-nemesis Kanye West, whose album “DONDA” debuted at #1 with 309k.
Over the weekend, Drake made a surprise appearance during Future’s set at Wireless Festival in London. Drake and Future played their collaborative tracks “Life Is Good” and “Way 2 Sexy” live for the first time, as well as “Laugh Now Cry Later,” “What’s Next,” and “Nonstop.”
Swizz Beatz revealed last week that Kanye West was interested in competing against Drake on the VERZUZ series.
