Drake Shares A Note From His Mother About Certified Lover Boy

Drake posts a note from his mom about the new album “Certified Lover Boy.”

Drake is all set to drop his highly anticipated album “Certified Lover Boy” this week on September 3rd, and the fans have been eagerly waiting to hear the project, along with Drizzy’s mother Sandi Graham. The Toronto rap star shared a sweet note he received from his mother about the upcoming release.

To: Lover Boy. Three days more we’re counting down, For us to hear the best, Everyone’s excited, Cause you’re nothing like the rest. Three more days my pookaroo, I couldn’t be more proud of you. Loving Mom,” she wrote in the note. Along with the note, she also sends him a red roses bouquet in the shape of 3.

Young Money updated Drake’s previously posted CLB artwork for the world to see. It’s identical to the pregnant emoji, except the females have been replaced with Drake emojis, complete with heart haircut.

While he continues to publish Mama Sandi’s remarks, Drake has also started displaying CLB lyrics on billboards across The 6 that read “Something other than me has got to give,” “I don’t miss… Let alone miss you,” as well as “Should’ve said you loved me today, because tomorrow is a new day.”

Update: Certified Lover Boy premiered at number one on the Billboard 200 list, becoming Drake’s ninth straight number one album in the United States. It debuted with 613,000 album-equivalent units, which include 46,000 album sales and 562,000 streaming units computed from the album’s 743.7 million on-demand streams. The 613,000 units sold were the most in a single week in 2021, beating Kanye West’s Donda (309,000).

Recently, Drizzy linked up with longtime friend OVO Mark on IG Live where they drove around Toronto to give “CLB” merch to the people on the streets.

Following the subtle ESPN takeover tease, Drake announced both the album cover and the album’s actual release date of September 3. Since then, he’s been disseminating information via billboards across the United States and Canada. From lyrics like “Something other than me has got to give,” “I don’t miss… Let alone miss you,” as well as “Should’ve said you loved me today, because tomorrow is a new day.”
