Drake Confirms Certified Lover Boy is Releasing on Sep. 3

“Certified Lover Boy” by Drake is indeed dropping on September 3rd.

Last week, during an ESPN Sportscenter broadcast, it was revealed that Drake’s new album “CLB” will be released on September 3rd. In a cryptic way, the broadcast was hacked to show a man holding a cardboard sign which stated that “CLB September 3.” Now Drake himself took to his social media to revealed that his highly anticipated album “Certified Lover Boy” is indeed dropping on September 3rd.

The album was supposed to be released in January of this year, but it was postponed so Drake could focus on his health. “I was planning to release my album this month, but between surgery and rehab, my energy has been dedicated to recovery,” Drake wrote on social media at the top of the year. “I’m blessed to be back on my feet, feeling great and focused on the album, but CLB won’t be dropping in January. I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021.

Drizzy posted a picture with pregnant woman emoji of different skin colors. We’re not sure if it’s the Artwork of the project or just a random picture for the announcement.

Drake said less than a month ago that he had finished Certified Lover Boy and that it was “on the way.” Shortly after, he collaborated with Trippie Redd on “Betrayal,” a song in which he appears to take jabs at his friend-turned-foe, Kanye West, and stated that his release date was “locked in stone.”

After the revelation, Apple Music showed that Kanye West will also drop his album “DONDA” on the same day. However, the project was released on Sunday morning which surprised everyone. But Kanye West then revealed that the album is released by Universal without his final approval.
