Drake Pays Homage To Late Sidhu Moose Wala And Played His Songs On Sound42

Drake recently put a story for the Punjabi singer writing RIP Moose.

Drake surprised everyone on Thursday night by announcing a new album called Honestly, Nevermind out of the blues.

To lead up to the release of his new album at midnight, the Toronto superstar began a new radio program called Table for One on SiriusXM’s Sound42 station. Drake performed some of his favourite songs as well as other tracks that motivated the new Dance project, which is executive produced by Drake, Noah “40” Shebib, Black Coffee, Oliver El-Khatib, and Noel Cadastre.

Drizzy played two songs from Sidhu Moose Wala throughout the session to pay respect to the renowned Punjabi musician who was shot and killed by unknown assailants outside his village in Jawaharke, Mansa district, on May 29th. Drake, who’d followed Sidhu on Instagram, performed ‘295’ and ‘G-Sh*t,’ two of his most popular songs.

On the day of Sidhu’s death, Drake paid tribute to him with an Instagram story that included the words “RIP.” Drake played two songs from Sidhu on his radio programme, which you can listen below.
