Diddy announces the new “Off The Grid” Vol 1 album.
It’s been one and a half-decade since the last time we get a proper studio album from the Rap Mogul Diddy, but it is about to change now. Diddy is all set to make his return to the music scene as he announced his brand new album called “Off The Grid” Vol. 1, which will be his fifth solo project, and the follow up to 2006 “Press Play“. “Welcome to the LOVE ERA,” he wrote with the announcement.
Diddy also revealed that his new album will release on September 24, 2021. Apart from some features, the Harlem native dropped a mixtape called “Money Making Mitch” in 2015. As the forthcoming project is named Vol. 1, we can expect some more sequels to the albums in the future.
The addition of the words “vol. 1” to the title adds a layer of intrigue, implying that Combs may be working on another full-length album. The forthcoming album will be his first since MMM, a mixtape effort that featured collaborations from Lil’ Kim, Future, Travis Scott, Big Sean, Ty Dolla $ign, Wiz Khalifa, and others. The revelation of Combs signing a deal with Wassim “SAL” Slaiby, who notably represents The Weeknd, following the release of the upcoming album. Combs will enter his new age in collaboration with Slaiby and his company SALXCO, as well as WME, with whom he signed earlier this year.P. Diddy, Puff Daddy, and Puffy, to mention a few of his stage names, is also a man of many projects. He’s also working on his Excellence Program in addition to his new record. In June, he established an education programme in collaboration with WME targeted at training future entertainment executives from underrepresented communities. The programme offers everything from resume assistance to seminars on travelling, professional growth, and storytelling to its members.
