Coi Leray Reveals Her Dad Benzino Threatening Her & Her Mom The Devil Is Working

Benzino reportedly snapped at Coi Leray for her interview on The Breakfast Club.

Earlier tonight, Coi Leray finally dropped her debut album “Trendsetter“, but before releasing the project, she did some revelations about her dad, Benzino, in some deleted tweets. She took to her Twitter and shared that Benzino is threatening her and her mother, over her recent interview on The Breakfast Club, where he revealed that her dad went broke after work with The Source Magazine.

“My dad is texting my mom threatening her and me because I said he went broke on the breakfast club on the day of my album release,” she tweeted in a deleted tweet. “I hate to bring this shit to social media but my father need help. Sorry if I offended you on breakfast club but don’t treatment me or my mom because you hate to admit that we went broke after the source.”

Leray worked hard on The Breakfast Club to remove the perception that she did grow up affluent since of her father. “That’s the problem everybody think it was a silver spoon situation. My dad lost The Source when I was like 9 [years old], bruh” she said. “Once it was gone I was old enough to understand life. And it was gone after that. Reality hit. We were broke, we’re figuring things out, ya feel me?”

“Build a f**king bridge and get over it that’s why I don’t even like mentioning his name,” she said on another tweet. “That’s why I never mentioned his name coming into this industry cause he can’t get over his past and don’t even realize how much he damaging when he does this stuff.”

“The devil is working!!!! THIS IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE when everything is going soo good, here he comes being weird trying to f**k up somebody’s life. He texting my mom threatening her talking about some watch. Grow up YOU WAS JUST TRYNA GET HER TO DO GROWING UP HIP HOP !! WE DONT WANT THAT LIFE !!!! She’s tryna be here for me and support me while you tryna find every way to beef with me and s**k the life out of me I’m tired.”

“I’m your only f**king daughter. You worried about being called broke on the day of my debut album. You ain’t even text me congratulations, you so bitter and evil. Ima pray for you,” she concludes.

Benzino also reponded to her daughter’s claim in a series of tweets, with mentioning Charlamagane Tha God and DJ Envy. “To whom this may concern…LEGENDS don’t play the back….they set the standards. Thank you my brothers @cthagod & @djenvy for sticking up for me and not letting a false narrative of who I am and what I’ve accomplished happen. I put in too much work in the culture,” he wrote.

“The problem with this social generation is they have no respect or regard for who came before then and how they laid the blueprint for them to be successful.I always revered those who came before me and I am grateful to the legends of Hip Hop.”

“And I’m tired this ‘old talk’ Hip hop is over 40 years young and the ones who appeal to older and younger will be the most successful. Anyone who thinks that because you’re in you’re 40’s and 50’s you should just go sit in a rocking chair and still don’t live out and pursue their dreams and aspirations [are] idiots. All you young people who are in their 20s and successful at rapping, chances are you still will be rapping in your 50s PERIOD.”

“When the younger generation starts listening more and respect the older before them…is when LIFE will be better and our entire CULTURE will be better. And let’s make one thing very clear, COMMENTERS AND LIKES ARE PROGRAMS AND SMOKING MIRRORS. The only thing that matters to me is what I can see and feel and BENZINO IS LOVED ALL OVER THE WORLD!”

Benzino recently went to Twitter to reply to his daughter’s subs. Additionally, he commended DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God for standing up for the “old” people in Leray’s interview yesterday. When discussing the hosts’ flexibility and previous musical generations, she referred to them as “dinosaurs” as well as her father.

Coi Leray, Benzino’s daughter, backed Eminem in a tweet, and the Detroit rapper has received a response from Benzino in which she expresses her love and support.

The 2021 XXL Freshman who praised Slim Shady after her father criticized the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for inducting the Detroit rapper as a 2022 member took to Twitter on Saturday (May 7) to respond to Benzino.
“I’m about love, equality, respect and forgiveness,” the Blick Blick artist tweeted. “I have nothing against Eminem, 25 years of my life all I know is he a very talented artist and actor! (8 Mile was great) Let’s build bridges and get over them before you burn the bridge and burn with it.”

Coi Leray then received flak from her Father Benzino for supporting Eminem. “As far as the lil [bird emoji] who keeps talking about love and forgiveness. Well there’s this word called ‘loyalty’ and a commandment that says ‘Honor thy Mother and Father,’” he tweeted. “As far as burning bridges, there no bridge bigger than the one you burnt with your own blood.”

He went on to explain that he still loves his kid, but that he will “had to do from a distance.” “One day you will realize that the people in these blogs comment section do not really care about you like I do,” he continued, “& your label execs will have you sell your soul to make millions. I LOVE & ADORE my only daughter but I will just have to do it from a distance.”

In a new interview, Leray responds to Eminem’s beef with Benzino, and that she will also support her father. “I know that anything that has to do with Eminem, I don’t have nothing to do with those times,” she said. “So don’t involve me in them. I’m my own person, you feel me? Don’t do that.” “Imma ride for my father regardless, ’cause he’s my father,” Leray added. “I don’t give a f–k what anybody says.”

She continued, “I wasn’t there to understand, but what I do know now is all that rap beef sh-t, even just today, is just f–king noise to me … I just think it’s just so corny and I don’t pay no mind to it.”
