Tony Yayo Says 50 Cent Treats His Label's Artists Better Than JAY-Z

Tony Yayo believes 50 Cent takes better care of his artists than JAY-Z.

Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda recently caught up with Thisis50 for a new interview, where Yayo praised 50 Cent for his contribution to his career, and compared him with JAY-Z. Yayo stated that he was helped by Fifty, while Murda did it on his own.

“That’s why I respect him because we have more of an assist,” he said. “We have 50 Cent so I knew I was okay. He sold 11 million records I’m gonna get a percentage of his fans. I’m good. He had the kind of more do it on his own. He had deals with JAY-Z and them but JAY-Z ain’t gonna never… I always tell them all the time JAY-Z ain’t treating you like this ni**a.”

Uncle Murda interjected to explain that Yayo enjoys having fun and related a tale about a party they had lately where numerous famous people, including the Kardashians and Serena Williams, were there. Murda claimed that Yayo made a playful shot at Hov and his hosting. “We just finished performing, great time, right,” Murda said. “First thing my man wanna say, ‘Yeah s**t lit, JAY-Z will never take you to a party like this.”

Murda was signed by JAY-Z to his label Roc-A-Fella in 2007, but it didn’t last long as he left the label in 2008, claiming everything went downhill after Hov’s departure. In 2016, the rapper signed a deal with 50 Cent and G-Unit Records.
