Detroit Rapper Courtney Bell recently made a visit to Power 106’s LA Leakers show where he freestyles over Tupac and Notorious BIG’s instrumentals. In his freestyle, Courtney Bell also raps that Royce da 5’9″ told him he’s next, he’s a call away from Eminem. The Detroit rapper spits fire while mentioning Big Sean, and the late King Von, and Nipsey Hussle.

After that, he also shouts out the Detroit GOATs Em, Royce, and Sean. “Shout out to Royce, Em, and Sean, Detroit GOATs,” says Courtney. Courtney Bell has a new single out called “Lion’s Den,” which features Shady Records’ Westside Boogie.
Courtney Bell has returned with a newfound sense of purpose, perspective, and vision on his new track and video “Introspection.” “Introspection” is a slow-burning confessional mixed with a poetic exercise, over a delicate sample, jazzy rhythms, and waining keys, demonstrating the raw talent & honesty that makes Courtney such a unique creature in today’s hip-hop world. The song encapsulates Courtney Bell’s horrific year, which included sadly losing 13 people in his life to COVID, aggressively battling addiction, and temporarily losing his will to produce music.
Prior to “Lion’s Den,” Courtney Bell released a series of songs, including “ICE,” “Say You Wanna,” and “Dear Rap Negus.” Most recently, Boogie can be heard on Alycia Bella’s song “Cue The Sun” and Sainvil’s “Boxed It,” both of which were released in September. Boogie’s most recent full-length album, Everything’s For Sale, was released in 2019, and included J.I.D, Eminem, 6lack, Snoh Aalegra, Christian Scott aTunde Adujah, and Shae Universe.
