Kurupt praise Dr. Dre and Eminem in a new interview.
Dr. Dre was recently honoured with a star at Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the event was attended by his friends and affiliates, including rapper Kurupt. The West Coast emcee had a conversation with TMZ, where he crowned Dre as the greatest hip-hop producer.
“Dr. Dre is number one greatest producers of all time in hip-hop,” he says about the legendary producer. He was then asked about Eminem, and where would he rank him among the greatest rappers. “Where would I rank him? I don’t. There are too many greats,” he responds. “He’s up there with Rakim. No one ranks higher. No one ranks higher than R (Rakim) but Em is with the R. You know why? Cause they are equal.”
Just recently, Dr. Dre also crowned Eminem as the best rapper ever. “I think he’s the best emcee ever. Point blank, period,” said Dr. Dre. “Of course, there are going to be arguments about that because he’s a white guy. I don’t think anyone that’s rapping can touch Eminem on that microphone.”
