DaBaby Claims He Can Rap On Eminem's Level, Says He Can Compete With Kendrick Lamar & J. Cole

DaBaby claims to be one of the best in freestyles.

DaBaby recently put out his new album “Baby On Baby 2”, and the rapper now made an appearance on Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion podcast for a conversation, which also includes Mr. Mecc, Sean Bigga and Grafh. On the show, the Cleveland rapper claims that he can go on Eminem’s level when it comes to freestyle.

“When you hear me rapping on freestyle, you be like ‘boy, this ni**a top five’ but when you hear the music I put out, I am in a music business, these people f**kin with ‘Brand new Lamborghini, f**k a cop’ but that sh*t ain’t nothing,” he said. “But you can put this beat on and off I go Eminem level on that bi**h. You gotta go get one of them to f**k with me. You gotta get Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole. It ain’t too many. I don’t disrespect nobody but boy, raise your hand… I’m like that… NI**s know it too. I am like that for real.”

DaBaby has praised Eminem on several occasions and called him one of his influences. “Lil Wayne. Eminem. So many people, though. Three is not enough,” he said in an interview earlier this year. “I was definitely a big fan of Kanye, especially early on, so I would … give 50 Cent and Kanye West a tie… I was blessed enough to be able to see a lot of different people have their era, like even like a Nelly, and Ludacris, T.I. … so many people that just had their waves.”

Eminem and 50 Cent are loved and respected by DaBaby, as is well known. He booms the music and yells them out. He now feels as strong as them and is prepared to dethrone the generation’s most renowned lyricists.

DaBaby received criticism earlier this week for allegedly struggling to fill a 1500-person venue as part of his “Baby on Baby 2” tour. It cost $22.50 to attend his performance in Birmingham, Alabama on November 15.
