Chris Brown Responds To Michael Jackson Comparisons He's Light Years Ahead

Chris Brown shuts down Michael Jackson comparisons.

Chris Brown is one of the artists who often gets compared to King of Pop Michael Jackson, while some say he’s better than the “Smooth Criminal” artist. The “With You” hitmaker has now shut down all the comparisons and calls it “cap.”

“You’ve always given it to Michael Jackson. But now you’re getting people where they say man Chris is better than [him],” Big Boy says in a new interview. “That’s cap,” responds Brown. “Because I don’t consider myself better than Michael Jackson, and you already know when it comes to dancing and things of that nature… If I’m not better than Michael, how can Chris Brown be better than Michael?”

Fivio Foreign Says Chris Brown Is The Closest To Michael Jackson Of Our Generation

“I stay the hell up out of it… I kind of back off it. My personal take on it is I wouldn’t even be breathing or even being able to sing a song if that man didn’t exist. So I don’t know if they look at it as the Jordan/Kobe thing but I can’t even look at it — [MJ is] light years ahead.”

He continued, “There is no competing with him. Hell no. I got shrines of this man hanging up in my house. Hell naw, I ain’t better than Michael Jackson.”

Chris has made similarities to his idol before. In 2019, 50 Cent pronounced Brown to be “better than MJ.” Justin Bieber has also praised his “Don’t Check On Me” colleague, comparing Brown to a cross between Michael Jackson and Tupac Shakur. “Everyone wants to wait til people die To give them the credit they deserve,” said Bieber. “I’m calling it now when CB passes away after a long full life, you will miss what you had in front of you the whole time … trust me watch you will see.”

The 33 year old is now prepping the release of his tenth studio album “Breezy“, which is scheduled to drop this Friday. The project which is a follow-up to 2019’s “Indigo“, will be featuring Lil Wayne, Fivio Foreign, Tory Lanez, Jack Harlow and others.
