Fivio Foreign gives Chris Brown a huge compliment.
It’s been over a decade since we lost the legendary Michael Jackson, and the industry still hasn’t found an artist as good as the King of Pop. With a contribution to music for over four decades, he was regarded as one of the most significant cultural figures of the 20th century.
London on Da Track took to his social media and asked everyone an artist that is the closest to MJ of our Generation. New York rapper Fivio Foreign was also among the people who responded to the tweet, and he named Chris Brown.

Chris Brown often gets compared to Michael Jackson because of his stage presence as a singer as well as his phenomenal dance. According to Billboard, Brown is one of the most influential and successful R&B singers ever, with several considering him the “King of R&B”. He has sold around 200 million records worldwide, making him one of the world’s best-selling music artists.
While Fivio didn’t go into great detail about the choice, it’s clear to understand why the Virginia native has been likened to pop’s most recognised performer. Furthermore, Fivio is far from the first to draw the comparisons, with musicians such as 50 Cent, Justin Bieber, Boosie Badazz, and many others doing so as well. Brown recently commended Boosie for the comparison, whereas 50 has been chastised for suggesting Chris Brown is greater than Michael Jackson, and Bieber has compared Brown to a cross between MJ and 2Pac.
Chris Brown has achieved significant success in his career as a musician, having sold over 100 million records worldwide and earning multiple awards including a Grammy. According to the Recording Industry Association of America, he has 64 certified platinum or multi platinum records. He is also known for his successful tours, where many of his shows were sold out. On the other hand, Michael Jackson is widely considered one of the most successful entertainers of all time, having sold over 750 million records worldwide and winning 13 Grammy Awards throughout his career. He has been inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, both as a member of the Jackson 5 and as a solo artist. He also received the American Music Awards’ Artist of the Century Award. The Guinness Book of World Records cites him as the Most Successful Entertainer of All Time.
