50 Cent reveals he received an enquiry about Fifa World Cup 2022 performance.
50 Cent is now on the promo run for Black Mafia Family Season 2, and the rapper made a visit to Big Boy’s Neighborhood. On the show, the rapper was asked about his relationship with Eminem, and the NFL Super Bowl halftime show. During the conversation, Fifty revealed that he and Eminem was asked about a performance at Fifa World Cup 2022.
“My relationship with Em is a lot more texting cause I’m moving a lot. Because of the Super Bowl I got an inquiry about the World Cup and they had a budget of nine million dollars for it. I would have took one big. And then another eight… I’m just saying, if you do one-off show maybe you would do the biggest live sporting event in the world. I talked to Paul Rosenberg and everybody around him and he was like ‘Em’s not gonna do it.’”
In other parts, the rapper also teased new music with Dr. Dre. “As soon as I said that, I got a text from [Eminem] that he had already spoke to Dre, and that Dre is in there and he got some crazy stuff for me to go hear,” said Fifty. “This is my process: I’ll go make something, what I can find, the best music that I can put my hands on. And when I feel real good about it, I bring it to put pressure on Dre to offer me something. ‘Cause he’ll have something… He’s always had something.”
