Eminem Surprise Call to Redman on Shade 45.
It’s no secret that Redman is one of Eminem’s favorite rappers, so it’s no surprise that Slim called into Shade 45 last night while Redman was in the studio. Hearing Em and Redman converse was a really enjoyable experience, especially when they exchanged memories and reminisced about their youth, and expressed mutual affection for one another. Redman appeared on the All Out Show with Rude Jude and Lord Sear. On the show, Redman got a huge surprise when he got a call from none other than Eminem. As we all know Eminem is a huge fan of Reggie and on the call, they admired each other and Eminem even shared an untold story of Redman.
During the call, Eminem disclosed that he was currently working on new songs, which was an interesting side note. Slim hasn’t made any formal announcements about a new album, thus this comes as a surprise. Eminem’s most recent album, Shady XV, was a compilation and best hits collection, so it’s been almost two years since he released a true solo album.
Later Eminem also agreed to collaborate with Redman on his upcoming Muddy Waters 2 Project. Check out their conversation below.
