The Weeknd shares the visual for “Sacrifice”.
The Weeknd continues putting out new material as he now releases the music video for his song called “Sacrifice”. After the red suit era during his previous album, the visual shows The Weeknd in his new Black Suit persona, and kicked off from the end of the “Take My Breath” video.
“I was born in a city / Where the winter nights don’t ever sleep /So this life’s always with me / The ice inside my veins will never bleed,” he sings.
The song appeared on The Weeknd’s brand new album “Dawn FM“, which featured contributions from Jim Carrey, Quincy Jones, Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne and Oneohtrix Point Never.
Dawn FM is the official follow-up to 2020’s After Hours, which produced The Weeknd’s greatest hit to yet, “Blinding Lights,” which went on to become the longest-charting single in Billboard Hot 100 history, charting for 90 weeks.
