Silk Sonic drops a new song “Smokin Out The Window”.
Silk Sonic, the duo of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak returns with some new material as they release a brand new single “Smokin Out The Window“. The new track comes along with an accompanying retro music video.
This follows up their previous offerings, “Skate” and “Leave The Door Open“. Bruno Mars claimed in an interview with Zane Lowe that they chose “Skate” as the second song “because the sun is out.” They are set to release their new album “An Evening With Silk Sonic” on November 12.
An Evening With Silk Sonic was supposed to be released in 2022, but it was pushed back until November 12, 2021. Mars and .Paak previously claimed in an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe that the Silk Sonic project began with a studio session in 2017.“It snowballed. And it was like, well, want to come back tomorrow? And we kept coming up with music. It felt like why you fall in love with music in the first place. And jamming with your buddy… There’s no plan, just working out the parts and trying to excite each other,” Mars said.
