Papoose shares the remix of “Thought I Was Gonna Stop”.
Papoose released a lot of new music throughout 2021 and blessed us with a new project every month. In his September’s EP, one of the stand out tracks was the Lil Wayne collaboration “Thought I Was Gonna Stop” which also received a video treatment.
Now the New York MC decided to revisit the track for an official remix. For the new version, Papoose enlisted Weezy, Busta Rhymes, 2 Chainz, and his rapper wife Remy Ma. The track is produced by legendary Timbaland, and comes as part of Papoose’s latest project “December“.
“While y’all was getting UE I was still UP / On a Lil Yachty with my Migos like I’m QC / With my Lil Baby in peace spending some QT / I been there yes the only Nas I heard is from QB,” raps Remy Ma.
Busta Rhymes closed out the song spitting, “Yo, you don’t really want it fam, make you do the Running Man/And bag your b***h, head she give was better in the Cullinan/Everything I touch, I make it hot until your color tanned/Hard of hearing n***a, see the blicka make ya understand.”
