NLE Choppa Releases An Emotional Song Gender Reveal In Memory Of Unborn Son's Death

NLE Choppa & Marissa Da’Nae lost their son in a miscarriage

NLE Choppa’s partner Marissa Da’Nae tragically miscarried, and the rapper has paid emotional homage to their unborn child with his new song “The Gender Reveal Song.”

In a heartbreaking Instagram post last week, Da’Nae disclosed she had a miscarriage “Losing our Son is so hard for me, I couldn’t function. But he has pulled me through and I’m thankful to have you by my side and with me along this journey,” she wrote. “Thank you Seven, for helping mommy grow more into a better person, pushing me into being more healthier and being the reason for me to continue to fight. I love you and I truly do appreciate the time we spent growing together and bonding.”

‘If it’s a girl, get ready for the tea parties/A girl, get ready for the pink barbies/A girl, make sure that her heart is guarded/Cause a girl, sometimes can become a target/If it’s a boy, make sure you and him play catch/If it’s a boy, make sure y’all have a talk about sex/If it’s a boy, make sure he treat a women with respect/Forgive forget never regret and protect,” Choppa raps emphatically.

He went on to say that he wanted to offer the song “for all the couples out there that have a gender reveal coming up in the future.” “#FOREVER7,” he captioned the photo.

The song follows NLE Choppa’s Me vs. Me mixtape, which was released in January. G Herbo, Young Thug, Polo G, and Moneybagg Yo all made cameos on the disc. Choppa claimed triumph when the album debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard 200 and sold about 20,000 copies in its first week.
