New Video DMX - Hood Blues (Feat. Griselda)

Watch the video for DMX & Griselda’s “Hood Blues”.

Yesterday, we finally got the first posthumous album “Exodus” of legendary DMX who passed away last month. The project which was completely recorded before the death of DMX contains 13 tracks with guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Nas, Usher, Jay-Z, The LOX, Lil Wayne, Alicia Keys, and more. Today the first music video from the album is released, for the fan-favourite DMX & Griselda collaboration “Hood Blues“.

Avenue Beatz and Swizz Beatz collaborated on the new tune, which appears on the rapper’s first posthumous album, ‘Exodus,’ which was released on Friday (May 28).

Exodus is executive-produced by Swizz Beatz and will be released on April 9th, approximately two months after DMX’s death. Swizz announced the actual track list earlier this month, confirming numerous rumours, despite the previously rumoured JAY-Z and Nas tune REVOLT did make the album. Moneybagg Yo, Mr. Porter, and X’s son Exodus are also named on the back cover of the record. However, DMX’s previously reported Pop Smoke tune did not make the cut.

DMX, who was 50 years old at the time of his death, died on April 9th. On April 3, he was admitted to the hospital after suffering a heart attack as a consequence of a suspected overdose, and he has been in critical care ever since.

The visual features studio clips of DMX, Westside Gunn, Benny the Butcher, and Conway the Machine. Watch the visual below.
