DMX’s posthumous album “Exodus” released feat Pop Smoke, Alicia Keys & others.

At the start of last month, the Hip-Hop fraternity and fans were shocked when the legendary DMX passed away, who was on life support in the ICU after suffering from a heart attack. Since then, there has been a lot of talk about the new unreleased music from the late rapper, which he’s been working on before his death. In the Drink Champs’ podcast earlier this year, DMX talked about his upcoming album “Exodus” and revealed some of the features on it, which included Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Alicia Keys, Pop Smoke, Griselda, and more.

Exodus, a record with all-original material and redemption themes, will be released by Def Jam Recordings. The album, which is X’s first for Def Jam since Grand Champ in 2003, is named after one of the rapper’s sons, Exodus Simmons.

Swizz Beatz, DMX’s longtime pal, is the executive producer on the 13-track album, which contains the previously released “Hood Blues,” which features Benny the Butcher, his cousins, brothers Conway the Machine and Westside Gunn, as well as DMX’s cousins, brothers Conway the Machine and Westside Gunn.

“My brother X was one of the most pure and rare souls I’ve ever met,” Swizz Beatz said in a statement when announcing the album. “He lived his life dedicated to his family and music. Most of all, he was generous with his giving and loved his fans beyond measure. This album, X couldn’t wait for his fans all around the world to hear and show just how much he valued each and every single person that has supported him unconditionally.”

Now with the help of Swizz Beatz, the “Exodus” album is finally here. Following the release of “Hood Blues” with Griselda earlier this week, the new posthumous project releases 13 new tracks. This features guest appearances from Nas, Snoop Dogg, Usher, Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, The LOX, Lil Wayne, and more.
