NAV & Quavo Drop a Dark, High-Energy Collab “Mutt.”
NAV and Quavo have officially released their new track “MUTT,” and it’s exactly the kind of late-night anthem fans expected.
After being previewed earlier this year in Miami, the song has finally arrived in full, now confirmed as part of NAV’s upcoming sixth studio album. The track, produced by Money Musik and Luc1us, leans into a dark, syrupy sound that sets the tone right from the start. It arrived with an official music video.
“MUTT” is built around mood and energy rather than deep storytelling. Quavo comes through with his signature confident delivery, rapping about diamonds, nonstop motion, and the fast life. NAV balances it out with a more laid-back, almost detached flow, matching the beat with effortless ease. The contrast between their styles is what really makes the track stand out.
“I seen on Twitter, they say I don’t get no h-es, I got a hunnid pullin’ up (H-es) / I just went 24s on my Rolls, it’s lookin like a Tonka truck (Speed) / I just came off the road doin’ my shows, just me, Slow and Bucks (Woo) / F–kin’ on strip-ers, I’m staying with my pole, better not try your luck (Baow).”
