Lil Nas X returns with a new track “Star Walkin”.
After announcing it earlier this week, Lil Nas X is back with some new music as he drops a brand new song titled “Star Walking”. The track is the official anthem to the online video “League of Legends”. The song arrives with an animated music video and follows up Nas X’s previous offering “Late To Da Party” with NBA Youngboy in June.
“On the mission to get high up / I know that I’ma die reachin’ for a life that I don’t really need at all / Never listened to replies, learned a lesson from the wise,” he sings.
“I’m not really much of a gamer anymore. I haven’t been since a teenager. But for whatever reason, I have a huge gamer fan base, and this is sick for them,”. “Making this song was a lot of fun. I had the verses forever, and it took, no joke, 30 different, 40 different 50, I don’t know how many different hooks, to get the hook to a place where I’m, ‘Okay, this is something I like. That’s cool.’ But overall I had a fun time in the studio. I had a fun time putting these pop elements and drill elements together. I thought it was really cool.” As soon as the song was premiered, X told Zane Lowe on Apple Music.
