Killer Mike Drops New Single & Video Run Feat. Dave Chappelle & Young Thug

Killer Mike enlist Dave Chappelle and Young Thug for “Run”.

Following an announcement a few days ago, Killer Mike makes his musical return with a new track. The song is titled “Run”, and it is his first own record in over 10 years. The song features assistance from Dave Chappelle and Young Thug. The No I.D. produced anthem comes along with a powerful video with direction from Adrian Villagomez.

The video also featured a “Free Thug, Protect Black Art, Free Gunna” flag, for Young Thug, Gunna and YSL members who are in prison for over a month on RICO charges.

“Don’t check for me without a check for me, that’s a hund’ (Louis)/ All the Ls I wear is followed by Vuitton (Louis) / Get money and the power, teach them while they’re young / Hmm, blessed to make it out the slumps, run, ni**a, run (Run),” raps Mike.

On Monday, July 4, at the mystical hour of midnight ET, the song and a video were released. It seemed appropriate to release it on Independence Day since everyone who is aware with Killer Mike knows how ardent he is about politics and the American government. “The Fourth of July celebrates the founding of this Republic and the rejection of British tyranny through taxation”. “And the first person to die in the name of this great Republic was a man named Crispus Attucks, who was a son of an African father and a native mother, which by the one drop rule makes him a Black man.”
