Diplo & Swae Lee Drops New Song Tupelo Shuffle From Elvis Movie Soundtrack

Swae Lee and Diplo connects on “Tupelo Shuffle”.

Swae Lee is back with some new music as he teams up with Diplo for a brand new single called “Tupelo Shuffle”. The track is the latest offering off the upcoming Elvis Movie Soundtrack, which is set to drop later this month. This follows up the previous release “Vegas” from Doja Cat, which received the video treatment yesterday.

The track also features movie cast members Austin Butler (Elvis) and Gary Clark Jr. (Big Boy). Diplo and Swae Lee will also perform the track at the 2022 MTV Movie and TV Awards this Sunday, June 5th.

The song begins with Elvis’ singing and contains two of Elvis’ cast mates, Austin Butler (Elvis) and Gary Clark Jr. (Big Boy). “Tupelo Shuffle” is unlike anything the two had ever done before, playing over Presley’s rendition of Arthur Crudup’s “That’s All Right Mama.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Diplo and Swae Lee will play the song live for the first time at the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards, putting Tupelo on a national platform for the first time.

The soundtrack will also feature Eminem and CeeLo Green’s collaboration “The King & I“, which was recently played at the Elvis UK Screening. The full album will release along with the movie on June 24th, with music from Denzel Curry, Doja Cat, Jazmine Sullivan, Nardo Wick, Tame Impala and more.
