Chance The Rapper drops “The Heart & The Tongue”.
After giving us a joint holiday project ‘Merry Christmas Lil Mama‘ with Jeremih in December, Chance The Rapper returns with some new material as he releases a new song called “The Heart & The Tongue“. The track which was announced last week comes along with an official video which is directed by Chance himself.
The new track, which was produced by DexLvL and Chano himself, comes with a music video and hears the Chicago rapper speak about inner struggle. He talks up on the fight between his mind and heart, labelling them as “rhyme” and “reason,” while wearing his signature 3 cap from the Coloring Book period. Throughout the two-and-a-half-minute single, Chance makes multiple religious references, yet he manages to keep the music personal and approachable without revealing his own dirty laundry.
