King Von’s new album “What It Means To Be King” released.

King Von’s first posthumous album “What It Means To Be King” is finally here. The album is the late rapper’s second studio album after 2020’s “Welcome to O’Block”. The album is laced with the recently released single “Don’t Play That” with 21 Savage, and the solo effort “War“.

The album includes 19 tracks, with additional guest appearances from G Herbo on “Facetime”, Fivio Foreign on “Straight To It”, Moneybagg Yo on “Trust Nothing”, Lil Durk on “Evil Twins”, Tee Grizzley on “Rich Gangsta”, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie on “My Fault” and more.

The video for the Kid Hazel-produced single features an animated rendition of the late Chicago rapper riding around the city with his lover on their way to the studio. Von then connects with 21 just as the two rappers are being chased by the cops. Since its debut, the song has had over 16 million Spotify streams, while the video has received over six million views on YouTube. The song’s merchandise has also been released.
