Stream To King Von's New Posthumous Single War

King Von’s new single “War” is released.

King Von’s estate is prepping the release of a new posthumous album from the late rapper, and they continue the rollout with another new single. Following the release of 21 Savage assisted “Don’t Play That“, a new single from Von is released, which is titled “War”. In the new single, King Von raps about murder, prison, and his gang-like lifestyle before gaining recognition and success in the music industry.

“Police they catch me, I’m too silent / My name speak volume, I’m too violent / Ni**as actin’ tough, run it up then I’ma lay him down like two pallets / Dress a ni**a up like a new stylist / Out for a year, ni**a, when the trial is? / Would’ve bought a bi**h a car but she had some mileage / If he say what he saw, we gon’ cut his eyelid,” he raps.

King Von’s posthumous album “What It Means To Be King” is releasing this week, and it will be his second studio album, a follow-up to 2020’s debut effort “Welcome to O’Block”.

Several of the rapper’s singles, including “Took Her to the O” (No. 47), “The Code” feat. Polo G (No. 66), “All These N—-as,” feat. Lil Durk (No. 77), and “Crazy Story 2.0,” feat. Lil Durk, charted for the first time on the Billboard Hot 100 shortly after his death (No. 81). In its second week, Welcome to O’Block reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200, ascending the list following his death.
