Moneybagg Yo drops “A Gangsta’s Pain” Deluxe Version.
Fresh off the release of the “One Of Dem Nights” video with Jhene Aiko, Moneybagg Yo decided to put out some new material as he releases an extended version of his latest album “A Gangsta’s Pain“. He announced the project with a clever IG post earlier this week. “7 songs All Slam Sum Sh*t I Just Had Laying Around 🔥.. Residue From Da Album F**K A DELUXE IM RELOADED,” he wrote.
As he mentioned, the Reloaded version features 7 additional tracks with guest appearances from Lil Durk, EST Gee, DJ Khaled, Pooh Shiesty, and more. It also features the recently released “Wockesha” remix with Lil Wayne and Ashanti.
Following a cameo appearance by Lil Wayne in the music video for the original version of “Wockesha,” Weezy joins Ashanti on the remix to create an even bigger moment out of the viral song. Another standout is “Scorpio,” in which Moneybagg demonstrates a new depth to his music and delves further into his own ideas. DJ Khaled and Yung Bleu are among the additional guests on the project’s deluxe edition.
In terms of remixes for the deluxe, Ashanti said in a recent interview that she jumped on the “Wockesha” remix after realizing she had gotten a DM from Moneybagg’s crew and almost missed it in an ocean of other messages in her inbox.
Moneybagg Yo’s “A Gangsta’s Pain” album which dropped a few months ago, debut at number 1 on Billboard 200 after moving over 110k equivalent units in the first week.
Moneybagg Yo released the music video for “One Of Dem Nights,” his duet with Jhené Aiko, last week. Aiko begins the video as a majestic fairy who utilises her magical abilities to shrink herself. She starts her verse on the bed, then flies about in a corset top to post up on the bathroom sink and stoves. As cuffing season approaches, Moneybagg comes in and taps into his gentler side, visualising personal events with his wife.
