Killer Mike unleashes new project “MICHAEL”.

Killer Mike continues putting out new music as he finally released his brand new album “MICHAEL”. This is his sixth studio album, and first solo effort since 2012’s “RAP Music”.

“After two and a half years of hard work and continued effort until this [Diamond] was perfectly polished, I am proud to present MICHAEL – a generational statement,” he wrote. “I am grateful for all that I have been blessed to see. Thank you God.”

The album contains 14 tracks and is laced with recently released “Scientists & Engineers” Future & Andre 3000, and “Don’t Let The Devil” with El-P & Thank You Good Sir. The additional guest appearances comes from CeeLo Green, Mozzy, Young Thug, 6LACK, Ty Dolla Sign, Currensy, 2 Chainz, Blxst, and more.

From 2013 to 2020, Mike teamed up with El-P for four albums as part of their group Run The Jewels, and he’s also working on their fifth. “The album is literally two days away,” he revealed about Run The Jewels album in a new interview with High Times. “I have to go in tonight and change two lines on a song. I’m just waiting for some drums from [producer] No I.D. and we’re done.”

“I didn’t see it for exactly what it was because I’ve never been here before, but I knew we were something badass and we were going to be big,” he continued. “Big is relative. Coming off the underground, big is just, ‘Hey man, I went gold,’ and I can play small clubs. Did I see us doing 100,000 people in England with [Labour Party leader] Jeremy Corbyn? Did I see us opening for the Foo Fighters at the Super Bowl in Atlanta? Did I see us doing Pitchfork Music Festival with 40,000 kids? No, I did not. I am so, so grateful.”
