E-40 drops the ‘I Stand on That’ video.
E-40 returns with some new material as he drops the official video for his track called “I Stand on That“. It is a collaboration with T.I. and Joyner Lucas. The song appeared on his bunder project with Too Short called “Ain’t Gone Do It/Terms & Conditions” which was released in December.
The video, directed by Jae Synth, shows each rapper in a separate garage area in their respective towns, trading off wordy lines on their basic principles and overcoming obstacles. (T.I. makes a point of mentioning Too $hort and E-40/A triple OG, saying, “I grew up on game from Too $hort and E-40/A triple OG and just ’bout to be 40.” E-40 performs some dance movements near the end of the video, which harken back to his Verzuz duel with Too $hort, which drew over three million people on Instagram Live this past December.
