Papoose shares visual for “Thought I Was Gonna Stop” Remix.
Last month, Papoose ended his historic run of a new project every month of 2021. The last project of the series was “December“, which also feature an official remix of his Lil Wayne collaboration “Thought I Was Gonna Stop“.
For the new version, Papoose also linked up with 2 Chainz, Busta Rhymes and Remy Ma. The song was produced by legendary Timbaland. Today, the New York icon decided to shares the official music video for his lyrical banger.
“While y’all was on IG, I was in the Mase’ / Drop-top, I be in that foreign like I’m Fivi / Hustled in your building, and you couldn’t stop me / Like the homie Jim Jones, I be in the lobby,” raps Papoose.
After Papoose starts off the song with his first verse, 2 Chainz steps in to provide his contribution. “When you was on a Zoom call, I was at the pool hall, crew tall, big ol’ n*ts like blue ba**s/ Who y’all? When I met the plug in the U-Haul, draco like a pool stick, I don’t need a pool ball/ Y’all n***as lame but that’s nothin’ new to y’all, I don’t care if I call around lunch, it’s still a b**ty call.”
WillC and Tana directed the video, which contains footage of all the skilled artists going into their zone as amazing animations give flare to the overall atmosphere of the film.
