Lupe Fiasco Releases A New Song 100 Chicagos

Lupe Fiasco shares a new song “100 Chicagos”.

Even though he hasn’t released an album for years now, Lupe Fiasco continues putting out new material on a consistent basis. The Chicago born rapper now shares another brand new track called “100 Chicagos”. Previously, an emotional Fiasco paid homage to the late Virgil Abloh on the song “V.F.”.

Fiasco doesn’t bother with a hook on this one as he pays respect to his hometown, including a smart shout out to Virgil Abloh, ripping through the atmospheric production with the might of his pen. Lupe’s wit and elite-level lyrics have been a source of pride for him from the beginning of his career.

“Generating Zen with some nice sword practice / Rest In Peace Virgil, LV, it’s Vice Lord backwards / A simple flip of the monogram, it ain’t sh*t, I had similes on my sonogram, my momma’s man,” he raps.

For the past ten years, Lupe Fiasco has been a conscientious voice in hip-hop. On April 14, Lupe used Twitter to reveal the titles of his final three albums: DROGAS, DROGAS Light, and SKULLS.

Lupe said in January that one of his albums would be called Roy, but he then told his fans that he would modify the cover art for the three albums and include a little skit dubbed “DROGAS.”

Listen to the track below.
