Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion drops music video for “WAP”.
Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion continue releasing new material as the duo drops the official video for their hit “WAP“. Both the artists, announce their collaboration on Twitter, “Single dropping this Friday! WAP feat. @theestallion #Wap,” Cardi tweeted.
In the new video, Cardi and Megan go through a house filled with beautiful ladies, including some well-known cameos like Kylie Jenner, Normani, and Rosala, to name a few corresponding music video, which was directed by Colin Tilley. Between verses, Cardi drops a verse in a leopard-print room with an actual leopard, while Megan takes the lead vocals in a bathtub with white tigers. In the chorus, they rap, “I’m talking wap, wap, wap.” “That’s some wet and gushy.”
The Recording Industry Association of America awarded “WAP” a 7 x Platinum certification (RIAA). The song was performed at the 63rd Grammy Awards by Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B.. “WAP” set the record for the largest all-female YouTube collaboration’s 24-hour premiere.
