Currensy and The Alchemist shares visual for “No Yeast”.
After a little delay, Currensy and The Alchemist recently joined forces for their brand new project called “Continuance“. The 13 track offering featured appearances from Wiz Khalifa, Styles P, Babyface Ray, Larry June and more. The duo now enlists Boldy James for the music video of their collaboration “No Yeast”. This follows up the recent video “Obsession“.
“How she in love, still sleeping with me? / Two hundred fives, twenty fifties, ten hundreds, I was keeping it G / Now, who you know more streeter than me? / With no yeast, so street, a ni**a everything he seeming to be,” raps Boldy James.
Following 2011’s Covert Coup, 2016’s The Carrolton Heist, and 2018’s Fetti, Continuance is Curren$y and The Alchemist’s fourth collaborative collaboration (alongside Freddie Gibbs). Aside from the plethora of mixtapes, EPs, and other collaborative endeavours that have landed, Curren$y has released three official LPs in 2021: The Collection Agency in February, Still Stoned on Ocean in October, and the fourth chapter of Curren$y’s famous Pilot Talk series on Christmas Eve. Within the same span, The Alchemist has been just as active, due to a few EPs and collaborations with artists like James and Armand Hammer.
