After a lot of demands from her fans, Jhene Aiko appears on NPR’s popular show ‘Tiny Desk‘ for a short concert. On the show, she performed 8 of her tracks. Jhene Aiko had a very successful 2020 and last month, Spotify revealed that she’s the most streamed R&B artist on their platform.
It’s a big deal when Jhené resurfaces “Stranger” from her emotional luggage. This track is a natural follow-up to her heartfelt version of “Lotus (Intro)” from her stunning album Chilombo. Live, “Stranger” is energizing, and when accompanied by a band, it becomes almost ethereal. Next up comes “Do Better Blues,” another sailing soul’s favorite (2011). Aiko’s rendition of this enthralling melody is personal and packed with her soothing energy.
