G-Eazy & Demi Lovato performs “Breakdown” on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
G-Eazy continues the promo run for his new album as he made a visit to The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. On the show, he teams up with Demi Lovato for a live performance of their latest collaboration “Breakdown“. The performance was in a similar fashion to the official music video for the song.
The track appeared on G-Eazy’s latest album “These Things Happen Too“, which featured Lil Wayne, YG, E-40, Ty Dolla Sign, Kossisko, and more.
G-Eazy and Lovato confront their demons on a stage divided in two for late-night TV, while storms rage and waves smash behind them. Following the turmoil, they eventually come together for an embrace. And everything is OK. G-Eazy paid respect to Lovato’s fortitude in addressing their problems on the song and its official video in a previous interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. “I think as a human being, she’s exceptionally talented. Even bigger than that, when you get that level of success, of stardom, of reach and ascend that high,” he said. “Demi is a very powerful force of bravery, of talent, of ability, of everything that Demi stands for. I applaud Demi, and I’m appreciative that Demi did it. I’m never shy to ask people uncomfortable questions because I think that’s where the greatness comes from.”
