Eminem Performed With Steven Tyler & Ed Sheeran At Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame 2022

Eminem inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by Dr. Dre.

The 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony took place last night at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, and Eminem became the latest rap artist to be inducted at the prestigious event. After getting inducted by his longtime mentor, friend and producer Dr. Dre, the rapper performed a set of six songs for the crowd.

The Detroit legend kicked off the set with his classic “My Name Is”, followed by fast-rapping “Rap God.” Marshall Mathers was then joined by Steven Tyler of Aerosmith for “Sing For The Moment,” and then “Stan” where he was assisted by Ed Sheeran. Eminem also performed his motivational Recovery single “Not Afraid”, along with his verse of Drake’s “Forever”.

“I realize what an honor it is right now to be here up here tonight, and what a privilege it is to do the music that I love,” he explained. “Music basically saved my life … I’ll keep this as painless as possible. I’m f**king stuttering and s**t. I’m probably not supposed to actually be here tonight because of a couple of reasons. One, I know that I’m a rapper, and this is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. There’s only a few of us who have been inducted already. Secondly, I almost died from an overdose in 2007, which kind of s**ked.” Addressing his 26 year-old daughter in the audience, he added: “Hailie, plug your ears. Because drugs were f**king delicious. I thought we had a good thing going on, but I had to go and f**k it all up. Goddamn.” Don’t worry, Em was also in silly form: He insisted that Dr. Dre, a longtime partner who gave him his induction speech, inform the crowd that he “I have a huge p**is.”
