Young Thug showers praise for Nicki Minaj.
Nicki Minaj is one of the top female hip-hop artists of this generation. She might not be the first female to achieve success in rap, but the “Pink Friday” artist paved the way for several current rappers and influenced many in the past decade. Young Thug also decided to honour his “Anybody” collaborator through a recent IG story.
“Nicki Minaj, definitely Top 5 Female Artist of All Time,” he said while tagging Nicki Minaj’s profile. “She definitely in the Top 5. For me though, just for me, you know what I’m sayin’ I think majority of people in the world, she definitely Top 5.”
Nicki has yet to reply to Thug’s compliment, but the two are no strangers to working together. They have collaborated on songs such as “Anybody” and, most recently, Elton John’s “Always Love You.”
Last year, Young Thug was asked about his top 5 rappers on Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, where he named his label YSL as number one, followed by Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Drake and Kanye West.
