Watch Redman vs Method Man So High Verzuz Battle Replay

Redman and Method Man go head to head in the Verzuz battle.

After started teasing it last month, the legendary Redman and Method Man go head to head in a Verzuz battle, which was titled “How High” due to the occasion of 4/20. The event was more of a joint concert from the duo, rather than a battle. “Y’all gonna get more than a Verzuz. Y’all gonna get Red and Meth in full effect,” said Redman before the event. “That’s right. We ready, baby. We’re gonna give y’all a special.

VERZUZ sponsored a fight between Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon and Ghostface Killah last night (March 20). The rappers fought for 20 rounds and were joined by Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, and Cappadonna, who each performed verses on “C.R.E.A.M.,” “Glaciers of Ice,” and “Ice Cream,” respectively. RZA also paid a visit, and ODB’s son Young Dirty Bastard joined in for a toast.

The event also had guest appearances from Wu-Tang Clan members RZA, Inspectah Deck, and Cappadonna. The duo performed their hits like “Soopaman Loova 3”, “The What”, “Let Me Clear My Throat”, “Get Lifted”, “Wu-Tang Ain’t Nuthin to F** with”, “Nutshell Pt 2” and more.

A VERZUZ event with D’Angelo was broadcast live from the Apollo Theater last month. Several special guests, including Method Man, Redman, and H.E.R., joined him on stage.

On the poster, The Isley Brothers will face Earth, Wind & Fire on Easter Sunday (April 4), and a VERZUZ rematch is slated for Memorial Day Weekend (May 29-31).

Furthermore, a VERZUZ spokeswoman just revealed to Billboard that co-founders Swizz Beatz and Timbaland would be hosting their own fight to commemorate the series’ one-year anniversary, which is coming up shortly.

Many people were thrilled, and they turned their focus to tonight’s Verzuz bout between Redman and Method Man. Rather than a typical duel, the How High pair wowed the crowd with a concert-style performance. Not only did the rap pioneers reflect on their three-decade friendship, but they also performed their individual masterpieces.

The duo also paid tribute to the legendary DMX, Who recently passed away. Watch the full thing below.
