Wale Praises Doja Cat After Coachella Performance One Of The Best Rappers

Wale gives Doja Cat a huge compliment following Coachella’s Performance.

Doja Cat was one of the star performers at this year’s Coachella festival, which was headlined by Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and The Weeknd. The 26-year-old brought out Tyga & Rico Nasty, and performed songs from her hit album “Planet Her“.

After her performance, Wale showered some huge praise for her. “Doja cat one of the best rappers out male or female alien or otherwise,” he wrote. He also responds to statements that Doja is not a rapper, but a pop star. “Anybody that raps for real .. can listen to her raps and can clearly see she is a rapper. I’m just now finding out there was a debate …,,I’ll just say this I’ve been doin this thing for a minute now .. when that girl drops somethin on one of these “rap” beats ?? You gon see.”

Doja Cat interrupted her Coachella performance on Sunday to persuade the audience not to leave, less than a month after announcing her impending retirement. “Coachella, don’t give up. Don’t quit. Believe in yourself. I love you,” she told the audience, which included Insider’s music crew, in Indio, California.

After receiving backlash for allegedly not meeting fans in Paraguay, the “Need to Know” rapper announced her intention to cease recording music last month. Doja, who is known for her sardonic sense of humour, doubled down on her pledge when fans wondered if she would still be joining The Weeknd on his “After Hours” stadium tour this autumn.

“I’m not bailing. But me not bailing doesn’t mean my ass isn’t gonna disappear right after,” she wrote in a series of since-deleted tweets. “I still got sh*t I gotta do. and a lot of y’all think cuz I post a f**kin picture it means I’m not out. Pic doesn’t = music GOOFY.”
