Vote Poll What's Eminem's Best Diss Track of All-Time

Vote For Eminem’s Best Diss of All-Time 2021.

Eminem and A Tribe Called Quest were announced as Rock & Roll Hall of Fame candidates for 2022 earlier this month. According to a Rock Hall Instagram post, Eminem is already smashing the fan voting vote.

Eminem’s diss tracks are nearly as long as his whole discography, and his lyrics have sparked several rap feuds. People who have been slandered by Eminem might form a vast, enraged group, and it wouldn’t be restricted to musicians. Politicians like George W. Bush and Donald Trump would be among the members, as would regular individuals like his ex-wife Kim and mother Debbie, and whoever Iggy Azalea is. Of course, we can’t forget the Eminem and Mariah Carey fight. Now, let’s take a look at some of the best Eminem disses of all time.

The latest standings were released by the respected organisation on February 8. Slim Shady is the clear leader, with Duran Duran, Pat Benatar, Dolly Parton, and the Eurythmics rounding out the Top 5.

Dissing has been an important part of rap culture since its inception. The art of dissing emerged from the underground rap battlegrounds and is now a popular aspect of Hip Hop. The world has enjoyed the beef between famous artists and the artist have made a fortune dissing each other. This beef culture in hip-hop music in the internet age has enormously caught up the wind. Famous artists have dissed each other apart, on their lifestyle, personal style, and their music.

Shady’s feud with Ja Rule was passed down from his gang, notably 50 Cent. Before Marshall and Dre recruited 50 Cent to their record company, 50 had a turbulent relationship with Ja, involving violent altercations that ended in 50 hitting Ja and 50 and his gang being stabbed in a club (on two separate occasions).

Ja Rule was furious that Em and Dre would contract someone with whom he obviously disagreed, and things escalated from there. “Em, you claim your mother’s a crackhead and Kim is a renowned sl*t / So what’s Hailie going to be when she grows up?” said Ja. Shady, and enraged, gathered his crew and unleashed the violent single “Hailie’s Revenge.”

Eminem has been regarded as one of the finest lyricists on numerous occasions. His keen tongue when it comes to dissing other musicians is one of his most formidable lyrical weapons, and it hasn’t gone ignored. Eminem has been nominated for 43 Grammy Awards and has won 15 of them, including Best Rap Song, Song of the Year, and Best Rap Solo Performance.

Artists have dissed each other but draw a line when it comes to dissing the Detroit MC Eminem. Eminem has buried his nemesis to the ground with his effortless rhymes, unrivalled lyrics, and the caricature portrayal of them. It hasn’t proved to be a smart move for any rapper be it an established or newcomer to have a feud with the legendary Detroit rapper. So, when it comes to rap battles and diss tracks, be careful picking your enemies because you do not want to mess with the Real Slim Shady.

Eminem has an old history of taking shots at artists where he has ripped everyone apart. Through disrespectful mentions in his verses or a full diss track for someone, Eminem has destroyed the careers of many artists in the rap game such as Ja Rule, Insane Clown Posse, Vanilla Ice, and Benzino. He has drawn his battle of words with the meanest of specialized diss rappers such as Canibus and Benzino.

Eminem and Donald Trump appeared to be pals in 2004. They definitely don’t appear to be that way right now. The rapper has had harsh words for the current US president on his previous albums Revival and Kamikaze, but in this acapella, he absolutely went full-bore on the controversial leader and his followers. It turns out that many Eminem fans were also Trump supporters, and they were not pleased with how scathing this cypher became.

His latest feud with Nick Cannon has shown that the rapper hasn’t lost a bit of touch in dissing when you come to targeting him. In the dissing track  “The Invitation” Nick Cannon targeted Eminem saying to finish this decades-old feud with Mariah Carey. While on his latest album “MTBMB” Eminem pinch Nick Cannon with these reference bars, “For some adversaries, I carry big guns So some targets’ll get the kill shot, Some, I just barely nicked ‘em“. The guy went ballistic with his wordplay and killed Nick Cannon’s track, settling this dispute. His pride-hitting comical portrayal of Nick Cannon, hard-hitting words, and lyrical destruction showed Nick is a gangster when it comes to rap battles.

Later, he offered a boxing bout between the two, which never took place. The feud has now cooled down, with no diss tracks or tweets addressed at either of the two. However, if Cannon reignites the feud, Eminem is unlikely to reply.

In a recent interview, Cannon stated that he thinks he won the battle. “I think I won [the battle.] If somebody picks a fight but does not show up to the fight,” he claimed. “I was the one who was responding. He was on Fat Joe’s record, talking… I love Eminem, he started f**king with me and then ran off like a little bi**h. He started making records about me first… I think It was all for sport man. I love Em. But I think I won the battle. He did not respond. He started it.” He continued, “The third time, I started bringing race into it. That’s why I went too far, I did too much, I should have stopped at the second record. I was planning to put Benzino on the next record [Laughs]. But we all know Eminem is the GOAT. He definitely a top 5. But I think Drake is coming for the spot. Drake is a better song-maker than the majority in the industry. But If we talking about punchline, bar for bar and lyricism, I’mma go with Drake. Eminem is the king of flow. Eminem is a great storyteller. Might be one of my favourite storytellers in hip-hop. Eminem is probably number one, cause ain’t nobody topping “Stan” and “Lose Yourself.” Eminem is a better storyteller than Drake, But if we go bar for bar, Eminem’s never said nothing bar-wise.”

Another famous beef, between Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem, is a live example of why it’s safe not to diss Eminem. The Cleveland rapper Machine Gun Kelly idolized Eminem but a made mistake dissing Eminem, responding to Eminem’s “Not Alike” in his diss track “Rap Devil“. Calling the Rap God ‘Sober and bored’ and commenting about his last four albums are as bad as his selfies, he dug the grave of his career. Eminem ended the beef with the track “Killshot“.

MGK proceeded to obliquely mock Eminem with Rap Devil, which he still plays often, and on his album Hotel Diablo, he indicated on the track FLOOR 13 that he made a small jab at the Killshot song. Eminem replied to the tracks Unaccommodating, Yah Yah, and No Regrets from Music To Be Murdered By. On January 18, 2020, the day after the album was released, Machine Gun Kelly tweeted, “he’s been rich and mad for 20 years straight.”

The hip-hop history is evident that messing up with Marshall Mathers has always been a doom. Eminem has not spared anyone in his songs, leave alone the rappers, he hasn’t spared anyone who has crossed his way. From pop stars like Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears to politicians like George Bush and Donald Trump, he has given them hard times making him the most verbal and outspoken rap artist of all time. The guy has also dissed Magazines like The Source and Rolling Stones which were pursuing to defame his career. You only expect a career-ending diss track from the guy who hasn’t even spared his parents. Eminem also took some shots at his Shady Records’ Slaughterhouse rap group member Joe Budden after he heavily criticized Em’s ninth studio album ‘Revival’.

Many of his songs contain celebrity jabs and passing remarks, but since the early 2000s, he has had no qualms about releasing whole songs (sometimes more than one) in retaliation for individuals who have insulted him, mentioned his daughter (a bad, horrible decision), or just individuals he dislikes. Eminem’s anger has been felt by other rappers, former pals, and music rivals from other genres throughout the years, and he still has no qualms about bringing out the big weapons when he needs to.

Also, with confidants like 50 Cents, Obie Trice, D12, and Dr. Dre, you will always be one track away to slit the throat of your music career. These fellas jump to the neck of every artist who tries to diss Eminem. As Eminem has mentioned in his latest album “Music to be Murdered By” if you go dissing him you have just “pulled a gun to the guy with a missile launcher”.

Eminem grew up in a hard black neighbourhood where he made his way above with his rap and rap only. The Rap God is UNDEFEATABLE.
